Newton Rovers Reserves fell to an opening day defeat in TCSSDFL Division Three. Hosts Totnes and Dartington Reserves ran out 5-0 winners at the Foxhole Ground.

Newton Rovers enjoyed a comfortable 9-1 victory over East Allington United Reserves in their 2020/21 season opener.

Newton Rovers visited Galmpton United on Thursday night for a 6.30pm kick off. The Greens, who will play in TCSSDFL Division One, won 11-0.

Rovers were one of the first teams to play HT Dons after their formation so the Exeter side have become a tradiitional fixture on their pre-season calendar. This season’s game was a hard fought encounter which ended goalless.

The fixtures for the South Devon League 2020/21 season are now up on full-time.

East Allington United Reserves will travel to Bakers Park on 5th September for the first team’s season opener. Meanwhile, the Reserves will play Totnes and Dartington Reserves at the Foxhole Ground.

• Wed 5th August – A v Ipplepen Athletic Res
• Wed 12th August – A v Broadhempston United
• Sat 15th August – A v Abbotskerswell
• Thu 27th August – A v Galmpton United
